Pig Breeders Round Table 2026 (PBRT)Location: University of Kent, Canterbury, UK Brief info: The PBRT 2026 will follow the same pattern as previous editions: a friendly meeting with fascinating science and stimulating discussion held in a beautiful location. The University of Kent is set in 450 acres of parkland overlooking the historic city of Canterbury and its famous cathedral.
The scientific programme, as usual, will be composed of contributions from those attending the meeting, organisations attending are strongly encouraged to contribute a talk and contribute to the discussion. The meeting provides an excellent opportunity to present and discuss new results with an informed, interested audience in an informal setting. 40th International Society for Animal Genetics Conference (ISAG)Location: Perugia, Italy Brief info: The International Society and the International Foundation for Animal Genetics (ISAG and IFAG) evolved from a series of annual workshops for comparing methods for detecting red cell antigens and variants of proteins to an organization focusing on basic and applied research on molecular genetics. The Society and the Foundation support exchange of research ideas, results, and applications by organizing conferences and workshops, comparison tests, and publishing Animal Genetics, the official journal of the Foundation.
