Bioinformatics Training Workshop for Animal Genome AnalysisLocation: Town & Country San DiegoBrief info: During this workshop, students will have hands-on experience in
Early registration ends: September 18, 2019basic UNIX commands and R programming that will allow them to retrieve, store and analyze functional genomics datasets. These datasets will include the assays used in the FAANG project but are also the most widely used methods in animal functional genomics/epigenetics: RNA-seq,Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)-seq, and Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin (ATAC)-seq. Additionally, participants will be introduced to basic experimental design, technologies and methods used to produce these types of data and understand the characteristics of each type of data. After this workshop, participants are expected to be able to analyze their own data from these methods by following training materials. Abstract due: n/a Contacts: Haibo Liu ![]() ![]() ![]()
