Gene Action
Usually think of three general types of gene action:
- additive - AA = 9 Aa = 7 and aa = 5 then the allele effect is 2
- dominance - interaction of alleles at one locus: AA=9 Aa = 9 aa = 5
- Epistasis - interaction of alleles at 2 loci. AA = 9 Aa = 7 and aa = 5 if B_ but AA = 5 Aa = 5 and aa = 5 if bb.
