A reminder of the following announcement, and a clarification that the
deadline for submitting your abstract to ISAG Is March 7. You then have until
March 15 to send your abstract and statement as described below for
consideration for the travel award.
Announcement!
The Veterinary Immunology Committee of the International Union of Immunology
Societies (IUIS, https://iuis.org/) is interested in developing closer ties
with the International Society of Animal Genetics and will support travel to
the ISAG meeting July 2-7 in Cape Town, South Africa for a PhD candidate or a
postdoctoral fellow to orally present their research at the Genetics of
Immune Response Workshop. A travel award of up to $1,000 will be made to 1-2
successful applicants.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your abstract for the
ISAG meeting and a short statement (<1/2 page) on your long-term research
interests by March 15 to one of the following:
Chris Tuggle (Cktuggleiastate.edu), Graham Plastow (plastowualberta.ca) or
Claire Rogel-Gaillard (claire.rogel-gaillardinrae.fr)
The successful applicant will be notified by April 1 in time for lowest cost
registration (deadline is April 14).
