Dear Angenmap Members:

I am hosting a free webinar next week on an EU project on microbiome
applications for sustainable food systems and includes research across
multiple food chains, including rumen, meat, etc. I hope that you will
join. Information on registering is below.

Best regards,
Kellye Eversole

Webinar: The MASTER plan: Microbiome applications for sustainable food
         systems through technologies and enterprise
.Date: 18 June 2020
Time: 8am PDT, 11am EDT, 5pm CET

Registration link: https://register.gotowebinar.com/...9970192398

Outline: MASTER is an EU funded project (€12 million budget), the overall aim
of which is to take a global approach to the development of concrete microbiome
products (strains, strain mixtures, modulators, kits), foods/feeds, services
(bioinformatics analysis, HTS) or processes (standard operating procedures,
fermentations, testing in real-time of all microbes in a sample,) with high
commercial potential, which will benefit society through improving the quantity,
quality and safety of food, across multiple food chains, to include marine,
plant,
soil, rumen, meat, brewing, fruit and vegetable waste, and fermented foods. The
project commenced in January 2019 and during this webinar, it’s co-ordinator,
Prof Paul Cotter, will provide an update on MASTER and MASTER-related
activities.

Presenter
Paul Cotter, Co-ordinator of the EU Innovation Action, MASTER
Head of Department, Food Biosciences, Teagasc Food Research Centre, Cork,
