primary responsibility for metagenomic and microbial genome
experiments related to respiratory disease in cattle, but will have
opportunity to participate in a broad range of genomics and
metagenomics studies in ruminant species, including our current

for bovinae species (e.g. gaur and bison) and production of
haplotype-resolved assemblies for cattle breeds in use in the U.S.

Facility with bioinformatics tools is a strong plus, but willingness
and ability to learn these skills is acceptable.
