The Transgenic Animal Research Conference will be held from Sunday,
August 11, 2019, through Thursday morning, August 15, 2019.
Registration fees will increase on June 22, 2019, so register before then
at the following address http://www.ces.ucdavis.edu/tarc
This is the 12th international meeting hosted by UC Davis to bring
together representatives from the leading laboratories worldwide doing
cutting edge work on transgenic and gene editing research in non-murine
animals, including livestock, fish and poultry species. The previous
meetings were each attended by up to 160 participants from 12 to 16
countries throughout the globe.
The meeting will consist of 24 to 26 invited presentations and submitted
posters, with all abstracts being published after the meeting in
Transgenic Research. Two afternoons from noon to 4 p.m. and one evening
will be free to allow for small group interactions and to take advantage
of the great natural beauty and recreational activities in the Lake Tahoe
area.
The Roslin Institute will again sponsor John Clark Outstanding Graduate
Student Poster Award presented by a graduate student. The first author on
the poster must be a graduate student who must formally attend the poster
during the conference poster sessions.
