CELLS

All living organisms are made up of cells. A cell could live on its own if it had the proper environment. Some cells, such as bacteria, actually do live on their own. A cell is made up of many components, and plays a major role in protein synthesis. Cells are continually dividing to help replace damaged or dying cells. An example of a cell is given. Each component (organelle) is labeled. The one organelle to focus on is the nucleus.
