Subject: Last chance to send functional SNP information for sheep HD
  chip
Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2012 19:59:30 -0500

Hi All

The International Sheep Genomics Consortium is developing a high
density sheep SNP chip (~800K, Illumina technology, likely to cost
<US$200/chip) and want to put lots of functional SNPs onto it. If you
know of any sheep functional SNPs that you would like included on the
chip then please send the sequences to Rudiger Brauning
<Rudiger.Brauningagresearch.co.nz> by the end of July. The
suggestion re amount of flanking sequence to include is 150 bases
each side of the SNP in format with the target SNP enclosed in square
brackets (......[A/T].....) . Please indicate any other SNPs that you
have found in flanking sequences. If you would be interested in
purchasing HD chips then if you have not already done so please
contact John McEwan <john.mcewanagresearch.co.nz>.

Regards

Jill
