Dear AnGenMap members
We have a postdoctoral position available in the Institutes of Genome Biology,
Research Institute for Farm Animal Biology (FBN), Germany. The position is
initially for 3 years. An extension is possible for qualified researchers.
The payment is based on the pay group E13 TV-L.
The applicant should have knowledge in genetics and statistics and
experience in the application of systems biology approaches in livestock
production. Genome/epigenome, transcriptome, metabolome and/or single cell
based technologies as well as genome-wide screening approaches are the
focus to identify molecular interactions related to quantitative traits in
livestock. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified candidate with a PhD in
animal science, biostatistics, bioinformatics, life sciences, biology, or
veterinary medicine with proficiency in programming languages (R, Python,
