Dear colleagues,
We are happy to invite you to the webinar on "Genomic characterization of
animal genetic resources".
Across the last decade or so, the analysis of genetic diversity has been
revolutionized by advances in genome sequence technology. What is now for me
the best approach? What are the pitfalls? Answers are given in the new
Guidelines on the characterization of genetic diversity
(https://www.fao.org/.../ng883en/ng883en.pdf), which has been written by an
international team of experts on request of FAO and ISAG. Speakers in the
webinar will include Christian Looft (Germany), Hans Lenstra (Netherlands),
Licia Colli (Italy), Paolo Ajmone Marsan (Italy), Catarina Ginja (Portugal)
and Juha Kantanen (Finland).
The webinar will be held on ZOOM on Wednesday 14 December at 15:00 Central
European Time (GMT+1) and will last approximately one and a half hours.
