I am pleased to announce the launch of a Research Topic on "Advances in
Genomics of crossbreed farm animals” in Frontiers Genetics (IF = 3.517).

This Research Topic is intended to provide a forum on all aspects of the
genomics of crossbred farm animals. We welcome both review and original
articles that contribute to enhancing the understanding and the
