Post-doc position in dairy cattle quantitative epidemiology and genetics

We invite applications for a 36 months postdoctoral research fellowship in
quantitative veterinary epidemiology and quantitative genetics at INRA,
France. The project is part of the H2020 GenTORE project
(https://www.gentore.eu/project.html). It will be conducted in a
collaboration between BIOEPAR lab in Nantes (https://www6.angers-
nantes.inra.fr/bioepar_eng/) and GABI lab in Jouy en Josas
(https://www6.jouy.inra.fr/...ojects/G2B).

The aim of the project is to identify predictors of the productive lifespan
to be used for the genomic selection of robust dairy cattle in various
environments. The recruited researcher will work with available production,
reproduction and health data collected in commercial farms (national
databases) and experimental farms.

Candidates should have a PhD in quantitative veterinary epidemiology or in
quantitative genetics, a good understanding of the organisation of the
dairy industry, and be able to manage and analyse large volumes of data.
