  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:A three generation resource family from 3 Iberian boars mated with Landrace sows were used.
     Breeds associated:
    n/a
Design:Genome-wide scan on crossbreed of low and normal prolificacy pigs for QTL.
Analysis:Least squares procedures for interval mapping were used. A permuta-tion test was used to establish nominal significance levels associated with QTL effects, and resulting proba-bility levels were corrected to a genomewide basis.
    Software:CRIMAP 2.4; Haley's QTLprogram.
