QTL Experiment in Brief |
Animals: | Pigs were from three experimental populations: White Duroc x Erhualian F2, Chinese Sutai half-sib, and commercial Duroc x Landrace x Yorkshire hybrid. |
Breeds associated:
|
Design: | Animals were genotyped using the Illumina PorcineSNP60 BeadChip and analyzed for meat quality traits. A final set of 44560 SNPSs were used for analysis. Association analysis was also performed for a SNP in PHKG1. |
Analysis: | A general linear mixed model was used. |
Software: | PLINK, R software, GenABEL |
