    Animals:Animals were F2 White Duroc x Erhualian or Chinese Sutai pigs.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:F2 and Sutai animals were genotyped using the Illumina PorcineSNP60 BeadChip. F2 pigs were also genotyped for 194 microsatellite markers. Association with skin thickness was analyzed.
    Analysis:Both linkage analysis and genome-wide association analysis were performed.
