QTL Experiment in Brief |
Animals: | Fifty F2 Duroc-Landrace litters were produced from 4 F1 boars and 50 F1 females. A total of 370 pigs were included in this study. |
Breeds associated:

|
Design: | Carcass and meat quality traits were measured for this study. There were 182 microsatellite markers used in the analysis. |
Analysis: | The traits analyzed were based upon multiple fixed effects and 2 modes of inheritance were tested, both Mendelian and one that fitted imprinting effects with coefficients for allele inherited from sire and dam. |
Software: | GenoProb |
