  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Three generation resource population developed at INRA. Matings of 6 x 23 F1 pigs produced 1103 F2 that were used for genotype and phenotype data collection.
     Breeds associated:
    n/a
Design:Nine growth traits were mesured against 137 markers that were genotyped for a genome wide scan for QTL detection.
Analysis:Two methods were used for QTL detection: a line-cross analysis assuming fixed founder population for QTL, and a fit model assuming no fixes.
