  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Animals were from an F2 population from an intercross between FH016 (Pietrain type) and FH019 (synthetic line from Duroc, Hampshire, and Large White founders) production sire lines.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Animals were genotyped for 170 microsatellite markers and two polymorphisms and analyzed for meat quality, carcass composition, and growth traits.
Analysis:QTL detection was performed using a two-step variance component estimation method.
    Software:CRIMAP, LOKI, ASREML
