  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Animals were from a Duroc-Yorkshire-Landrace composite population and an F2 Duroc-Landrace population. Samples analyzed for meat quality traits were Ohio State University National Pork Board Industry samples and Babcock Genetics Industry samples.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Samples were genotyped for 131 SNP markers and analyzed for tenderness, taste panel, meat quality, and/or fatness traits.
Analysis:The QTL Association option of Mendel and PROC MIXED were used.
    Software:Mendel, SAS, Haploview
