  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Animals were lambs from four flocks in New Zealand. Dams were composites of Romney, Coopworth, Perendale, and Texel. Sires were a mixture of dual-purpose and terminal sire composites.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina Ovine Infinium HD SNP BeadChip and analyzed for pneumonic lesions and pleurisy incidence. A total of 537,117 SNPs were used for analysis.
Analysis:GWAS was performed using 1) Efficient Mixed-Model Association eXpedited (EMMAX) using identity-by-state, and 2) haplotype trend regression with a 3-SNP sliding window.
    Software:SVS v8.4.0
