    Animals:Animals were Romney x Merino sheep from the CSIRO gene mapping flock.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped for 55 microsatellite markers and analyzed for response to parasitic infection.
    Analysis:A maximum likelihood approach was used. Additional analyses were performed using Haley-Knott regression and a non-parametric approach.
