  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Animals were crossbred beef cattle with Angus, Hereford, Simmental, Limousin, Charolais, Gelbvieh, Red Angus, Pinzgauer, and Red Poll background.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina BovineSNP50 BeadChip and analyzed for growth traits.
Analysis:Significance of associations between genotype and calf performance were determined using 2-tailed t-test. Polymorphisms were evaluated for association with direct and maternal components.
