    Animals:Animals were first-lactation Dutch Holstein-Friesian cows.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using a custom Illumina Infinium array and analyzed for milk fatty acid content. A total of 44,733 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:A two-step single SNP association analysis was performed using a general linear model and an animal model.
