    Animals:Animals were Nordic Holstein, Danish Jersey, and Nordic Red cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina BovineSNP50 BeadChip and analyzed for mastitis phenotypes. Data were imputed to the BovineHD chip and 648,219 SNPs were used. HD genotyped for six targeted regions were umputed for sequence level.
    Analysis:A linear mixed model was used, with association assessed by single-locus regression analysis.
