QTL Experiment in Brief |
Animals: | Animals were Brown Swiss bulls. |
Breeds associated:
|
Design: | Animals were gentoyped using Illumina BovineSNP BeadChips containing between 20K and 777K SNPs. Lower-density data were imputed to 777K and haplotype-based association testing was performed for bull fertility traits. A total of 683,609 SNPs were used for analysis. Fine mapping was carried out using whole-genome sequencing data. |
Analysis: | Association testing was performed using a sliding window-based approach with a linear model. |
Software: | Beagle 5.1, GCTA v1.93.2, R software, PLINK v1.9, GATK, Burrows Wheeler Aligner |
