    Animals:Animals were Original Braunvieh and Brown Swiss cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Routine SNP genotype data for 150K and HD arrays were used to perform GWAS for multiple birth.
    Analysis:Single-SNP regression analyses were preformed using a mixed model. Window-based association analyses were carried out using the BayesB algorithm. Data from these studies were used in haplotype regression analysis.
