     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped for 54790 SNPs using the BovineSNP50 BeadArray, in addition to 96 SNPs within 186 kb of CAST and CAPN1, and analyzed for meat tenderness (shear force). After filtering, the data set contained 40645 SNPs.
