    Animals:Animals were from 17 populations representing the following cattle breeds: Holstein, Danish Red, Finnish Ayrshire, Hereford, Angus, Jersey, Montbeliarde, Normande, and Fleckvieh.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using either the Illumina Bovine SNP50v2 or BovineHD BeadChip and GWAS for stature was performed within each population using imputed whole-genome sequence variants.
    Analysis:Mixed linear models were used.
