    Animals:Animals were Angus, Hereford, and Simmental x Angus cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina BovineHD and BovineSNP50 BeadChips and analyzed for growth and feed efficiency traits. Following analysis using the HD data, 50K genotypes were used in a follow-up study to confirm QTL locations.
    Analysis:GWAS were performed using a mixed linear model.
