    Animals:Animals were Jersey and Holstein cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Cattle were genotyped using the Illumina BovineSNP50 BeadChip and analyzed for lactation persistency. A total of 39,048 SNP were used for analysis.
    Analysis:SNPs were analyzed individually using regression models, and a BayesA method was used where all SNP were fitted simultaneously.
