WHAT IS A GENE?
In order to completely understand the size and the relationship of genes to cells, we must take a look at some of the bigger components within which the gene lies. There are seven different steps that we need to look at to completely understand a gene and its location. These are as follows:
- Cell
- Nucleus
- Chromosome
- DNA
- Gene
- Genes are translated into amino-acids (proteins)
- Close-up of a Gene
- Size Relationship Map
